Today
This weekend was great. No call. No going out. Just fun family time, which is the important thing. This coming weekend we have family coming in for the holidays, which will be a blessing in disguise. The holidays are great for remembering the good old times and remembering what is most important.... the fam. I am looking forward to relaxation and building future memories this holiday season. My girls are going to have a holiday season they will never forget. Beyond the cool toys and fun gifts they will recieve, they will get an experience they will remember forever. Setting traditions is something I want to instill this year. That is what we all remember in the end, not what the coolest gift was, but the great things you did as a family is what is remember and cherished.

ELECTION NIGHT
TONIGHTS THE NIGHT. THE END OF THIS TABACLE IS NEAR. PART OF ME CAN'T WAIT AND PART OF ME WILL MISS THE LOUNGE CONVERSATIONS. I AM KEEPING AN OPTIMISTIC VIEW ON THE ELECTION EVENTHOUGH THE REDSKINS CAN'T HOLD A FOOTBALL. IF HUSSIEN WINS THIS, I JUST HOPE THAT HIS SUPPORTERS ARE RIGHT ABOUT HOW WONDERFULLY PERFECT THE WORLD WILL BECOME. BUT TONIGHT ALL WE CAN DO IS VOTE AND WAIT. I BELIEVE IT IS AMAZING HOW A MAN CAN HYPOTIZE AN ENTIRE NATION INTO OBAMAZOMBIES WITH JUST ONE WORD "CHANGE." THIS COUNTRY WILL CHANGE, CHANGE INTO A NATION THAT WILL NO LONGER BE RECGONIZED AS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. MAYBE A SYMBOL OR THE NATION FORMERLY KNOWN AS THE USA. AND I AM TRIED OF THESE PEOPLE WHO COMPLAIN ABOUT HOW BAD EVERYTHING IS AND ARE NOT EVEN GOING TO VOICE THEIR OPINION. I AM COUNTING ON A WIN FOR THE GOP TONIGHT BASED ON THESE HARD HUSSIEN SUPPORTERS NOT SHOWING UP AT THE POLLS. SO AGAIN ALL WE CAN DO NOW IS VOTE AND WAIT. GOOD LUCK AND THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE VOTING FOR NOT JUST WHO!

Back to Politics
Barak Hussien Obama states that he will not "raise" taxes for anyone making under $250,000/ year and 95% of Americans will not see a rise in thier taxes if he becomes President of the USA. This statement is a bold face lie and a slap in the face to all Americans. His promises are nothing more than false promises with loop holes, thats a lawyer for ya.
#1 Senator Obama states he will not raise taxes, yet he is going to allow for the tax cuts implemented by the Bush administration to lapses. If you look at the tax rates from 2000 and the tax rates now, you are being taxed a significant amount less. He will passively allow tax rates to increase for 100% of taxpayers. My taxes will go up $2,812 if the tax cuts lapse. Check it out on IRS.gov and use timetable tax tables.
#2 He will lifting cap on S.S tax and double the tax rate of today. Barak states that half will be paid by employer. We all know the employer will cut that tax out of some payroll or pass it along to the customer via higher prices.
#3Roughly Many Americans making less than 250,000/ year own personal stock. All personal stock is subject to capital gains. Barak proposes to increase capital gains from 15 to 20%. Many people use stock sales to put there childern through college or make a down payment on a home, but hey Baraks only gong after the rich, right? think again
4# Barak is going go after those big oil companies and raise their taxes by applying a windfall tax! Econo 101-- Taxes are built into the product price, the taxe increase will only increase prices for the costumer. thanks again Barak. Here in the US we already have some of the highest coporate tax rates, and we wonder way jobs are going overseas?
Just think logically before you vote for CHANGE!
Lets not raise taxes and redistribute wealth, lets just cut spending!
Vote JOHN MCCAIN!!

New day
Its important to stop and smell the roses. I know its a cliche thing to say, but somtimes cliches fit. In the world we live in, it is so easy to forget about the basic, simple and the beautiful things that life has to offer. Many of us are so wrapped up in what we want to be and what we want others to view us as being that we forget who we are. At the the end of the day nothing really matters if you are not loving living. Stop for a second in your busy schedule and look at what you have around you. The things we place to the side to obtain a certain goal, somtimes they are more important than the goal at the end of the race. I challenge you to really stop and be who you what to be now rather than anticipating what you will be later.

LIFE
Its funny how something you think is so stable and firm can become evaporate into mist. Take nothing for granite because it could be gone tommorrow. Security is so overlooked, at any second thing can change for the worst. Dont feel like making it long tonight. Goodnight

An American life under the rule of an Obama presidency
The American life as was lived by you, your parents, and your parents' parents will be "changed" for ever. People come to and stay in the United States of America for several reasons, liberty, freedom, and the ability to pursue the American dream. The American dream is what will be changed forever under Barak Obama, and not for the good. Who is Barak Obama? A man of very few accomplishments in his life. Yes he did graduate from a prestigous law school, but then what? Obama has the agenda of a person who has never had a real job in this country, much less ever run a business, much less ever made a payroll. He has never held a real job in this country. He is very good at using other peoples money to get things done. How smart do you have to be to raise taxes and spend other people's money? That's what we're talking about here. How smart do you have to be?
There's nothing new about this, there's nothing hopeful about it, and it is not change that we want or need. It is change, though. Obama wants to change the American system for another system, a system that is foreign to you and me but which has been talked about and written about for 150 years. It's promoted in colleges and universities among far-left professors. It has been pounded into Obama's head by the likes of Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright his entire adult life. If somebody tells you, for example, they want the federal government to take over the health care system lock, stock, and barrel, what do you call that? If somebody tells you they want the federal government to run the human resources departments of every private entity in this country, deciding who should get paid what and what benefits they should receive, what do you call that?
If somebody says, "We need to raise taxes on pensioners by increasing the capital gains tax when they sell their equities," what do we call this? When someone says that we need to increase taxes on anyone who earns $42,000 or more, what do we call that? When somebody says that we need to increase taxes on every small business in the country that makes $250,000 a year, what do we call that? Well, I'll tell you what Obama calls it. He calls it middle class tax relief.
Why should people who have worked hard their entire lives and finally thier hard work pays off and they become "rich" be punished for their hard work. Tax them more? What incentive do the "poor" have to change things if they are going to be spoon fed everything they need.
Now during the geopolitical climate of today people are considering electing this amatuer to be our commander in chief. This is disasterous for America. With Russian bombers in Venezula with Hugo Chavez, nukes within reach of Iran, and the revival of North Korea's nuclear intensions, some people are actually thinking about electing a man that will sit and chat, with NO PRECONDITIONS, to a terrorist who publicly displays his want for genocide.
More to come....... I getting myself all worked up.

My weekend with my girls
I had a great relaxing weekend. I did nothing, but hang out with my kids. I did not watch the news, football, hang out with friends....nothing....just family. We went down to the nieghborhood lake and went fishing. We did not catch anything, but still had fun running around on the shore. We played in the yard and had ice pops to cool off, took bike rides, we grilled out dinners and indulged in fastfood for lunch.(Only places with playgrounds) We tend to push these kinds of things off throughout our busy lives and it felt wonderful to not worry about the common things and just enjoy life with the kids. So no politics until tommorrow night; Tonight my daughters will be my "prentend" audience, so I can practice my presentation. I feels great to cut loose the noise of life and enjoy the fundamentals, family.

Last nights Debate
I am so pleased with Palins performance last night. She exceeded main stream media's expectations of her abilities. Everything about her performance last night was great. Her ability to dodge questions she didn't feel comfortable answering, her ability to talk about the topics she wanted to talk about, her ability to show the American public who she was and what she had accomplished, all proved her abiliity to debate and be a suitable leader in America. She even threw some blows at Joe Biden by showing how before the VP nomination he stood against the fundamentals Barak Hussien believes in. I also thought it clever of her by shaking Biden hand and saying "Can I call you Joe." I think it was small jab at Barak Hussien Obama demeanor during the debate. Overall I don't think the VP debates are going to change very many minds on who they may vote for, but I think overall Palin walked away from this debate with the most benefit. Erasing the publics doubts of her abilities. Notice Joe Biden didn't once question Palin experience. This is because knew he would get the answer that she has held a political office 5 years longer than the Democratic Presidental Candidate. Her first political position was obtained in 1992, opposed the socialist who gained office in 1997. If you are leaning toward the "great" Barak Hussien Obama I ask you to take a minute and look at the future and place his policies. He will "change" America, but not for the good, he wants to change the foundation that this great nation was built upon. If he is president no one will be able to recognize the face of America under all the socialistic policies and huge government he will implement. Next blog I try to describe a world that is run by Karl Marx...I mean Barak Hussien Obama.

The last couple weeks have been crazy. Not only in my personal life, but also everything going on with this Wall Street crisis. I'll start with my weekend wedding/vacation to Philly. My wife and I were both in the wedding party and both for the first time experienced and participated in a Catholic wedding. It was crazy, they should have had us take a class before showing up to the dress rehersal. The wedding was in an awesome cathedral in a town called Bristol and everything went great. The reception was on a beautiful golf course in New Hope, PA. The bride is a gourmet food guru and her love was reflected at the reception. The food was to die for. For the rest of the weekend we enjoyed the company of family and went sight seeing downtown Philadelphia.
Now for my thoughts on this Wall Street debacle. After I have had time to absorb the vast amount of information surrounding this subject I have come to the conclusion that we should not have more government intervention. Government intervention is what got us into this disaster in the first place. It was the government "forcing" banks and financial firms to issue loans and mortgages to people who would never be approved before. Now I understand it is not just the governments fault, but the the slippery slope was created solely by the government. Why would banks make deals with people that they thought couldn't repay the loan....because certain administrations thought that everyone deserves to own a home. I think along the same line, but only when people are financially ready. Another factor adding to the creation of the current problem were the dramatic interest rate cuts. These cuts were made to make it easy for people to borrow money. I also think some CEOs of these companies were making bad business deals to boost numbers and that contributed, but the reason this all started was because of government policies and decisions, like the CRA, that encouraged this risky lending.
Now these investment firms neglegently bought these faulty mortgages without looking at what they were buying. Now the government wants to use our money to bail out this bad business, which will only defer and extend the pain longer. Someone has to take the loss for this to end not tax payers. I don't pretend to have the answers, but I know creating a larger, more socialistic government is not the answer!

Hello again. I had a great weekend, despite Tropical Storm Hannah. We had some friends retreat from Folly and stayed overnight to escape the storm. We stayed up to the wee hours of the morning enjoying refreshments in anticipation of bad weather...waiting...waiting...and waiting some more. I have been through afternoon thunderstorms that were worse than Friday night. One good thing that came from the storm was that it cleared the skys the next day, which made for a perfect day on the beach. We met a few other people down on Folly and relaxed on the beach. Of course with a 6 and 2 year old, you learn to take your relaxation in 4 minute intervals. The good thing was that we were in great company and I got to slip into the water for a few sets! On Sunday the wife whipped out the infinite honey-do list and I went to town. Around the time I was finishing up, wanting to watch the game, I was paged into work. Never fails. By the time I returned home I had found out that the Al Mighty Brady was injured. And now I hear he is out for the season. So now I must bear through the rest of the work week until another eventful weekend returns. This Friday my wife is having a couple girlfriends flying in from Virginia Beach. ( I miss VB) So I'm sure it will be a cash burning weekend. Just kidding babe. We are all leaving for a wedding in Philadelphia next week. So I'm sure next weeks blog will filled with crazy shananagans about my in-laws. Until next time.
Second blog........complete, but still a little akward.
